WHO WE ARE: At Velocity Youth Group, we believe in living life in a forward motion. You are welcome here, no matter where you’ve been. We’re off and running and we’re not turning back (Phil 3:14).
WHAT WE BELIEVE: We strive to make sure that everything we do at Velocity is based on the Greatest Commandments Matt 22:36-39 (“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as yourself.) and the Great Commission, Matt 28:19 (Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”)
WHY WE EXIST: To REACH youth in and out of our church, to TEACH them about Christ and His teachings and how that applies to their lives right now, to CONNECT them with other Christians at youth group and within our church, to help them GROW through discipleship, and then to help them GO out to their families, schools and communities to serve and spread the Gospel.
WHEN & WHERE: Join us at Cornwall Christian Church every Monday night, that there is a school day, from 7:00 – 9:00.
